Silver Leaf, then when dry I picked out various panels with Citadel
Chainmail and the elevators and ailerons copped an unholy mix of Chainmail
and flat white to represent doped fabric , the other colours used were all
acrylics from the Citadel and Tamiya ranges Its finished in the kit supplied decals as an aircraft of the 2nd Chutai (Sqn), 29th Sentai (FG), on Taiwan in 1945. I did use a bit of decal softener to get the rather heavy kit decals to snuggle down over the details and then when dry, popped the recessed details with a wash of Citadel brown ink and water, with a good dollop of dishwashing liquid to help it flow down the lines |
